A portable controller that modernizes the entry-level DJ segment
With the Numark MixTrack Go, the American brand offers a particularly current solution for DJs who want to stay mobile without sacrificing the essentials. Its pocket-sized format, direct USB-C power supply, and lightweight design make it a tool tailored for today's uses: set preparation, practice, impromptu sessions with friends, or quick mixes before a gig. This model also stands out for its clever positioning within the range. While many compact controllers are limited to basic controls, the MixTrack Go incorporates features inspired by more ambitious models, notably Stems management and Fade FX. It is therefore aimed both at beginners and more advanced users looking for a simple, discreet, and efficient secondary controller.
For which DJs and in what contexts is the MixTrack Go designed?
The MixTrack Go is perfect for the beginner DJ who wants to learn the basics of mixing on a real controller, with two channels, touch jog wheels, performance pads, and clear navigation through the music library. Its non-mirrored layout, similar to that found on more advanced controllers, facilitates learning the right habits from the very first sessions. It is also aimed at the mobile DJ, content creator, enthusiast preparing transitions while traveling, or professional who wants a backup controller to quickly test ideas. Thanks to its built-in sound card, headphone and main outputs in minijack, it allows both silent work and connection to a small sound system for a friendly session, an after-party, an impromptu set, or backstage practice.
