About the brand Pioneer dj
The Pioneer Pro DJ brand appeared in June 1994 with the release of the famous and revolutionary DJ CD player, the CDJ-500. Quickly, the Japanese company completed its range with the DJM-500, the first DJ mixer with a tempo-synced effects unit. Other products like the EFX-500 and the DJM-600 still remain today as products that undeniably marked this decade focused on DJs. The Japanese brand has always been attentive to DJs for the development of intuitive and innovative products. It was naturally in 2001 that the cult CDJ-1000 player was born.
Pioneer Pro DJ is also known for creating trendsetting products! As its name indicates, Pioneer = Pioneer. Other products such as the DJM-909 mixer or the EFX-1000 effects unit have become reference models for DJs of the future. In 2005, Pioneer again marked the minds of DJs by allowing all DJ artists to stand out in clubs and discotheques worldwide with video, creating the DVJ-X1, the first CD DVD player for DJs.
Quickly, the range for mixing audio and video simultaneously was completed with the new DVJ-1000 player as well as the incredible audio video mixer, the SVM-1000.
The year 2009 was a 90° turn for Pioneer Pro DJ which changed its name to Pioneer DJ. It was also that year that the Rekordbox software saw the light of day. On September 21, 2009, a new revolution was underway, Pioneer DJ announced "the dawn of a new era" and unveiled the multimedia players (USB, SD...) CDJ-2000, CDJ-900 along with its mix preparation software Rekordbox. Day by day, interest in Rekordbox grew and the international DJ community discovered that the "Rekordbox philosophy" is the union of the best software and hardware.
To complete the range of new professional players, Pioneer offers the DJM-2000, a 4-channel audio mixer, triple digital effects units, Midi controller, network hub and 24 bit 96 kHz sound card! While waiting for new innovations on which the brand is continuously working, this concentration of technology allows DJs of all levels to achieve real creative and musical feats in today's and tomorrow's clubs.
