Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range
Within the Ahead universe, the Armor Case series is positioned as a premium solution designed for mobile drummers: a design focused on efficiency, protection, and durability, with loading ergonomics that make a difference when setups and teardowns follow one another.
Who This Accessory Is For
These covers are suitable for both beginner drummers and professionals who regularly transport their shells to rehearsals, studios, or tours. They particularly address the demands of styles where gear moves a lot (rock, pop, metal, jazz), securing the kit during travel and handling.
Features and Innovations
The "teardrop" shape facilitates insertion while respecting hoops and mounts. The DynaZip zipper offers wide and quick access, ideal for saving time on stage. Inside, the DX-Core combines two layers of shock-absorbing foam and a premium fleece to minimize impacts, friction, and micro-scratches, all protected by a waterproof 600D exterior and reinforced seams.
Sound
A cover does not alter the sound of your drum set, but it indirectly helps preserve it: better-protected shells, less marked finishes, less abused hardware, and more secure transport to keep your kit in perfect condition longer.
