These Ahead replacement sleeves give your drumsticks with an aluminum shaft a new lease of life. They effectively protect both the drumstick and striking surfaces, while maintaining a consistent response and constant flexibility throughout rehearsals, concerts, and studio sessions.

Polyurethane provides a durable outer layer designed to withstand repeated strikes without compromising playing comfort. Once properly fitted against the joint ring, the sleeve ensures a secure hold and helps preserve the rebound and balance of your pair of drumsticks.

To replace the sleeve, carefully remove the tip first. Then heat the old sleeve with a hair dryer or a small oven to make it easier to remove. Also heat the new sleeve before fitting it, making sure not to forget the joint ring. To reinstall the tip, screw it on halfway, add a drop of suitable adhesive to the thread, then tighten it until properly fitted.
