A sleeve in good condition helps maintain the comfort, balance and flexibility that Ahead drumsticks are known for, even throughout rehearsals, concerts and long practice sessions.

We recommend replacing the sleeve as soon as you notice through-cuts or significant signs of wear. To make installation easier, gently heat the sleeve using a hair dryer or a small oven, but do not use a microwave. Carefully remove the tip and make sure to correctly reposition the connecting ring before fitting the new sleeve. A snug fit against this ring ensures reliable hold and optimum performance.
