Which Ahead drumsticks are compatible with the XLTIP tip?
This ST801 tip is compatible with Ahead drumsticks using M1S, M2S, or SST sleeves.
What is the diameter of this replacement tip?
The stated diameter is 1.27 cm. The profile is a large round tip made of white nylon.
How to replace an Ahead XLTIP tip?
The tip unscrews while protecting the piece, then the worn sleeve is removed after slight heating. The new sleeve is also installed after heating, checking the aluminum ring. A drop of super glue on the thread then secures the tip when tightened.
