A pack designed in Berlin to place the microphone at the center of the workflow

The INSPIRE + PACK from Aim Audio combines three elements designed to work as a coherent set: the INSPIRE microphone, the ORBIT shock mount, and the SENTRY pop filter. Designed and assembled in Berlin, this pack targets a "studio first" approach: a controlled sonic signature, immediately readable control ergonomics, and accessories that never obstruct access to settings. The result is a premium recording system, conceived as much for technical precision as for daily comfort in vocal booths, control rooms, or demanding home studios.

Who is it for and what studio applications?

Thanks to its multipattern approach and ability to handle high sound pressure levels, the INSPIRE is aimed at sound engineers, producers, musicians, and content creators who want a reliable main microphone for a wide variety of sources. It excels on vocals (pop, rap, spoken word, dubbing), but is equally relevant on acoustic guitars, amps, percussion, piano, and string instruments. The 5 polar patterns allow adapting the capture to the room (reducing reflections, more open capture, MS/Blumlein technique via figure-eight), while the pads and high-pass filters facilitate clean recording even under less-than-ideal conditions.

Key features: selectable tone, immediate control, mastered recording

Switchable Transformer / Electronic output: two characters, one microphone

The most distinctive feature of the INSPIRE microphone is its switchable output: you choose between a Transformer mode and an Electronic mode. The goal is simple: to adapt the "texture" of the recording without changing the microphone or signal chain. The Transformer mode favors a denser, more harmonious feel, ideal for placing a vocal at the center of a mix or adding body to an acoustic source. The Electronic mode aims for a more direct and transparent response, useful when you want a fast, precise sound that is easy to shape in the mix.

1" capsule and refined design: detail, naturalness, and low noise

The INSPIRE is based on a 1" (gold-plated Mylar) condenser capsule and an internal architecture focused on stability and low noise. The electronics design with four printed circuit boards contributes to an ultra-low self-noise and faithful reproduction of micro-dynamics (breath, attacks, resonances) without making the sound harsh. In practice, this translates into clear highs, structured mids, and a solid image that holds well in the mix, whether recording close or at a distance.

Polar patterns, filters, and safety: more control, fewer surprises

The selection of 5 polar patterns via a backlit wheel offers immediate control to adapt the capture to the sound scene. You also have essential settings to manage challenging sources: -10 dB / -20 dB pads to avoid clipping on a snare, percussion, or very loud vocal, and high-pass filters (80 Hz) as well as a roll-off around 110 Hz to clean up vibrations, mic stand noise, or proximity effect. The lockable controls and LED indicator (peak level) secure the session: fewer handling errors and a clear readout of the microphone status during recording.

ORBIT and SENTRY: "studio-ready" accessories for quick and clean placement

The ORBIT shock mount, made of reinforced nylon, is designed to effectively limit unwanted vibrations and resonances while maintaining smooth handling. Its 190-degree orientation facilitates precise placement in front of a vocal or instrument, and its design leaves access to microphone controls even in tight spaces. The SENTRY pop filter, crafted from engraved stainless steel, features a magnetic attachment: it positions quickly, stays stable, and its reversible design allows adjusting placement according to singing distance and plosive intensity, while maintaining good clarity in the upper spectrum.

For transport and protection, the pack includes a custom molded hard case, a vegan leather pouch, and a cable tie: a complete, coherent, and elegant solution suitable for fixed studios as well as mobile sessions.
