A milestone in the Alhambra range: the "concert" spirit from the 8 series onward
The Alhambra 8 P model marks a qualitative leap compared to previous series: from this reference, manufacturing is entrusted to a small team of artisans who pay special attention to details. The addition of bone nuts (head nut and saddle) and a fine nitrocellulose lacquer finish aim at a clear objective: to allow the wood to vibrate freely to achieve an instrument that is both powerful, refined, and reliable on stage.
For which guitarist and styles?
This classical guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a true "concert" feel: wide dynamics, clear articulation, and an instrument that remains stable when played loudly. It is perfectly suited for the classical repertoire, modern pieces, and solo playing where projection and nuance are essential, while remaining very pleasant for accompaniment thanks to its balance and natural warmth.
Sound
The solid red cedar top provides a naturally warm timbre, a soft attack, and beautiful harmonic richness, while maintaining volume and definition. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides enhance the depth of the low register, controlled brightness in the treble, and the sensation of sustain, for a full and "noble" sound. The bone nuts promote efficient vibration transmission, and the nitrocellulose lacquer, being lighter, contributes to a livelier response and projection that holds up very well in concert.
Recommended compatible accessories
This pack includes the 9557 case: a relevant choice to protect a classical guitar of this level during transport, with a lightweight and durable polyurethane structure, a soft fabric-covered interior, and a dedicated space for accessories (strings, tuner, classical capo, etc.).
