An Electro-Acoustic in the Brand's "Roundback" Spirit
With its Lyrachord back and center soundhole, the AB24II CS follows the tradition of "roundback" design guitars: ergonomics designed for projection and an instrument naturally oriented towards amplification. The Mid-depth format offers a good balance between playing comfort and sound presence, while the cutaway enhances versatility for upper-fret playing.
Who Is It For, and What Styles?
This electro-acoustic guitar is well suited for beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking a reliable instrument for home playing, rehearsals, or stage use. Its balance makes it comfortable for pop, acoustic rock, folk, and pick-style accompaniment, with useful access to the treble for intros, riffs, and clean-tone solos.
Sound
The selected spruce top promotes precise attack, good dynamics, and clear projection, especially appreciated when playing with a pick. The quartersawn X-bracing supports the top and contributes to a more structured response, with clean lows and defined highs. The Mid-depth Lyrachord body delivers a direct and focused tone with well-controlled sustain and proves very effective when plugged in. On the amplification side, the CE304T preamp allows quick adjustment of the sound (bass, mids, treble), and the built-in tuner simplifies tuning changes during playing situations.
