Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Double-ply drumheads have become a standard for drummers looking for a more controlled sound and better longevity, especially in amplified settings. This set follows that logic: efficiency, stability, and natural harmonic reduction.
Target Audience for This Drum/Instrument
This set is aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers who play loudly or seek a sound that is immediately usable in rehearsals and on stage. Perfect for Hard Rock, Metal, and more broadly, any situation requiring a dense low end and controlled sustain.
Features and Innovations
The double-ply structure provides more focus, limits harmonics, and improves durability. The 14" Texture Coated head offers a drier feel, a slightly warmer tone, and better response to brushes.
The Sound
The transparent heads favor a sharp attack, projection, and precise rendering while remaining controlled thanks to the double ply. The Texture Coated adds warmth, slightly softens the highs, and enhances the "punch" sensation on the drums.

Very good quality, very durable skins that gave a more than correct sound and good power to my small Stagg drum kit. For the price it's a good deal.
