A MicroFreak Edition That Pushes the Idea of an Evolving Synth Even Further
The MicroFreak has established itself as an "evolving" synthesizer, capable of expanding through updates with new oscillator engines. With the MicroFreak Vocoder, Arturia goes further by integrating a true vocoder through an ingenious approach: the signal input is made via an additional point exploited on the audio output, opening the door to TRRS connectivity and the use of the supplied microphone. The result: a limited edition designed to multiply sonic colors, from modern talkbox-like effects to robotic vocal pads.
For Whom and For What: Studio, Live, and Sound Design
This synthesizer is aimed equally at curious beginners and experienced producers seeking an immediate, expressive, and atypical instrument. In techno, electro, ambient, synthwave, or pop, the vocoder provides an instant signature, while the modulation matrix, arpeggiator, and sequencer encourage improvisation. In the studio, it excels in layering textures and sharp leads; on stage, its compact format and tactile control make it a true performance synth.

Great sounds, not necessarily easy to learn when you don't know how a synthesizer works
