A compact companion for learning, recording and playing

The Audota AME-100 is particularly suited to beginner and intermediate guitarists who want to explore effects without building up a collection of pedals. Its dimensions of 109 x 81 x 42 mm and weight of 240 g make it easy to slip into a guitar gig bag. At home, on the go or at rehearsal, it brings together the essential tools for working with a sophisticated sound.

Its amplifier simulations, distortions, modulations, delays and reverbs open the door to a wide range of approaches: blues, rock, saturated passages or ambient textures. For home recording, the USB Audio function transmits the signal directly to a computer. Content creators and streamers can also integrate it into their setup, while its lightweight format makes it suitable for small-scale live performances.

A customizable chain, controlled from your phone

The AME-100 lets you configure a chain featuring up to 9 simultaneous modules. You can combine several processors to create a sound suited to your guitar and repertoire. The 80 user slots let you save your settings, so you can recall your working sounds or song configurations without starting from scratch.

The high-definition color display makes navigating the unit easy. For more in-depth editing, the Audota app for iOS and Android provides full control via Bluetooth 5.0. This approach is convenient for preparing your sounds on your phone and then returning to a compact setup when it is time to play.

Compatibility with third-party impulse responses expands the customization options. You have 20 slots for loading WAV IR files at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit resolution, with up to 512 samples. The USB-C port handles audio, power, firmware updates and connection to the app.

For practicing without an accompanist, the drum machine offers 40 patterns, while the looper can record a loop of up to 20 seconds. You can lay down a chord progression, then develop a melody or try another setting over it: a practical way to work on timing and develop a musical idea.

The sound

With 55 amplifier models and 147 effects, including 23 types of distortion, the AME-100 prioritizes a wide range of combinations rather than a single color. Modulations, delays and reverbs add space to clean parts or enrich a saturated sound. Compressors, noise gates and acoustic effects complete this palette, allowing you to tailor the processing to the guitar’s role.

The AI-based automatic compression is designed to optimize the dynamics of your playing and better control level variations. The final character depends on the simulated amplifier, the associated effects and the IR used. This flexibility makes it possible to seek anything from a restrained foundation for accompaniment to a more processed sound for solos and atmospheric parts.
