An all-in-one approach to streamline your setup
The Audota AME-200 combines amp modeling, cabinet simulation and effects processing in a single guitar processor. Rather than using multiple devices, you have a platform for creating complete setups, saving them and recalling them for different songs. Its compact format makes it easy to integrate into both a stage setup and a home workspace.
Support for third-party impulse responses provides additional freedom: you can customize the cabinet section of your sound instead of being limited to the built-in simulations. This combination of effects, modeling and IR loading places the AME-200 at the heart of a versatile setup, designed to support both daily practice and live performances.
For rehearsing, recording and recalling your sounds on stage
This guitar multi-effects unit is aimed at musicians who want to explore a range of sonic worlds without carrying a large collection of pedals. Developing guitarists will find everything they need to experiment with their first effects chains, while more experienced users can prepare setups tailored to their repertoire, from blues and rock to more atmospheric textures, depending on the selected processing.
At home, the headphone output, looper and drum machine make practice sessions easier. You can record a loop, work on your timing and develop an idea with rhythmic accompaniment. In a home studio, the USB-C connection with OTG audio enables direct recording to a computer or compatible device. On stage, the user memories help organize the sounds required for your set.
Customizable chains and two-level editing
The AME-200 offers 221 built-in effects and allows up to 10 modules simultaneously. You can prepare combinations of processing and save your setups in the 200 user memories. The 3.5-inch color TFT screen makes it easy to view parameters and edit presets directly on the processor.
To prepare your sounds from your desk, the Windows- and macOS-compatible software lets you manage presets and configure the device. The USB-C port also provides a connection to your computer, firmware updates and OTG audio functions. Compatibility with an external expression pedal opens up additional control options while playing, particularly for adjusting assigned parameters without interrupting your performance.
Loading up to 30 third-party IRs in WAV format at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit allows you to customize the cabinet simulation. The looper provides up to 180 seconds of recording time for building a practice foundation, trying out harmonies or developing a solo part. The drum machine completes the package for rehearsing and music creation.
The sound
The sonic character of the Audota AME-200 depends on the selected amp modeling, effects and impulse response. It is therefore not limited to a single color: its strength lies in the ability to shape several sonic identities within the same device. IR cabinet simulations contribute to the realism of the sound and play an important role in the final tonal balance.
To fine-tune your sound, you can work on the combination of the modeled amp and virtual cabinet, then complete this foundation with the desired processing. Importing custom IRs allows you to refine the result according to your preferences. You can then save these choices in your user memories to recall a consistent setup from one session to the next.
