A "Satellite" Designed to Complement the MiCreator Studio

The MiCreator Satellite was conceived as the natural extension of the MiCreator Studio: where the Studio ensures quick and mobile capture, the Satellite instantly opens up richer recording scenarios. By connecting it via the input/output ports designed for the MiCreator ecosystem, you add a second source without multiplying cables or switching to a heavier configuration.

This "modular" logic makes all the difference in the field: rather than revising your audio chain when moving from a single voice to a duo, or from an instrument to room ambiance, you expand your setup in seconds. The result: more spontaneity, easy-to-maintain sonic coherence, and a significant time saving during shoots, rehearsals, or writing sessions.

Who Is the MiCreator Satellite For, and When Does It Make a Difference?

The Satellite targets creators who need speed without sacrificing quality: podcasters, streamers, videographers, mobile journalists, musicians in home studios or rehearsals. It is especially effective when going beyond the "one voice in front of the mic" scenario: two-person interviews, voice/guitar duos, ambiance recording, or stereo capture of a performance.

Its cardioid directivity helps keep a voice intelligible even in lively environments, while its compact format easily fits into a production bag. And thanks to the integrated headphone jack, you stay in control of your take: placement, level, and potential distortion are immediately monitored, securing "one shot" recordings.

Key Features: Flexibility, Control, and Natural Sound

From Mono to Stereo (or Two Sources) Without Complexity

Connected to the MiCreator Studio, the Satellite lets you broaden your sound image in one move. You can opt for true stereo to capture the space of a room, the width of an acoustic instrument, or the energy of a live performance, or choose a "dual source" setup to record two speakers or a voice/instrument duo with greater clarity.

Compared to a mono take made with the Studio alone, you gain depth and mixing possibilities: better separation between elements, more precise placement in the stereo field, and a more "alive" rendering on video content, podcasts, and musical recordings.

Standalone Mode with Headphone Monitoring

The MiCreator Satellite can also operate as a standalone microphone. This is a practical advantage when you need to travel light or ensure a quick take without bringing all your gear. The integrated headphone jack then becomes a safety tool: you immediately check for breath noise, handling sounds, plosives, or levels that are too high before it's too late.

This direct monitoring also speeds up your setup: a few adjustments of distance and angle often suffice to improve clarity, reduce room reverberation, and take advantage of the cardioid directivity.

Cardioid Directivity and Wide Bandwidth: A Mic Made to Create Anywhere

The cardioid directivity favors the source facing the microphone and further attenuates side sounds. This approach is particularly suited to untreated environments (bedroom, office, dressing room, backstage) where you want to limit ambient noise and reflections. In practice, you get a more "centered" and usable take in post-production, with fewer heavy corrections.

With a response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the Satellite covers the entire useful spectrum for voice and most instruments. Its maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB SPL helps handle strong sources (close percussion, amplifier, powerful singing) without distortion, while the 108 dB dynamic range preserves nuances, from soft passages to the most marked peaks.
