Questions frequently asked
Can the Behringer BQ-10 control a modular synth via CV/Gate?
The CV out, Gate out, and Trig out outputs can drive synth voices and modular parameters. The CV in and Trig in inputs also accept external signals for synchronization and control.
How many sequence steps are available?
The single mode offers a 16-step sequence. The double mode splits sequencing across two 8-step channels, A and B.
What playback modes are available on channels A and B?
Eight playback modes are available per channel, including Alternating, Parallel, Series, and Random. These modes allow modifying the step progression without reprogramming the sequence voltages.
Can this sequencer be synchronized with MIDI and an external clock?
The MIDI connection includes channel selection and transport for integration into a MIDI setup. A Trigger In and a CV input dedicated to the internal clock also allow synchronization via analog signals. The Duty Cycle control adjusts the overall gate length.
Is the third channel used for melodies?
The third 8-step channel is intended for modulation, notably of filter, amplitude, or parameters of a modular system.
