BG: A Leading French Reference for Bassoonists
BG has established itself over time as a trusted brand in the world of wind instrument accessories. The B02 strap perfectly illustrates this expertise: a field-oriented design, attention to finishing details, and French manufacturing renowned for its consistency. The goal is clear: to offer a robust accessory designed to support the musician daily, rehearsal after rehearsal.
Intended Use and Target Musician
The BG B02 is aimed at bassoonists of all levels, from beginners to advanced players, who seek simple and effective instrument support. It is suitable for study contexts (conservatory, lessons, rehearsals) as well as performances (orchestra, ensemble, chamber music), whenever one wants to gain stability and playing comfort while reducing fatigue related to carrying the bassoon.
Sound and Design
A strap does not directly influence the timbre but strongly impacts playing quality : better weight distribution helps stabilize posture, which promotes more consistent sound production and greater endurance. The BG B02 relies on carefully selected materials, with assembly designed to last. Its black color remains understated and suitable for all situations, from the orchestra stand to the classroom.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To complement the use of your strap, a bassoon swab can be an excellent daily ally. However, since the compatibility of a hook or attachment system often depends on instrument configurations, it is best to keep the supplied hooks and choose any additional accessory based on your attachment point.
- Shoulder strap featuring a padded shoulder section for sweat absorption
