Get a vintage snare drum sound in one move

The Big Fat Snare Drum BFSD is a drum accessory designed to easily alter the tonal character of your snare drum. It sits directly on the existing head to lower its fundamental pitch and produce a deeper, rounder and warmer sound.

Inspired by the powerful snare drums of the 1970s, this device adds mass, body and control to medium and high tunings. It delivers a drier, more punchy response, ideal for rock, funk, pop, hip-hop or studio productions looking for a full-bodied snare sound with plenty of character.

Thanks to its exclusive blend of rubber and plastic, the BFSD stays securely in place without restricting the head. Its thumb notch makes it easy to remove between songs, allowing you to instantly return to your snare drum’s natural sound without changing drums.
