The BFSD Cow Moo is an additional head designed to quickly change the character of your snare drum. Placed directly on top of your batter head, it delivers a lower-pitched, darker and fuller tonal color, inspired by productions from the 1970s.

Ideal for drummers looking for a snare drum with a silky, powerful and muted tone, it helps tame overly prominent overtones while preserving a pleasant dynamic response. Its full-bodied sound is equally suited to vintage grooves, funk, soul, rock and studio recordings.

Thanks to its magnetic tab, the Cow Moo remains easily accessible and attaches simply to the drum's metal components. You get the Big Fat Snare Drum character without having to change snare drums, adjust your tuning or carry an additional instrument.

Each unit is sewn and finished by hand. The natural suede may show slight variations in appearance, thickness or stiffness, making each Cow Moo an authentic piece with a unique character.
