A vintage snare drum effect with a jingle key
The BFSD Halos is an accessory designed to quickly alter the character of your snare drum. Placed directly on the batter head, it lowers the fundamental pitch of the shell and delivers a rounder, fatter and shorter sound, inspired by the powerful snare drums of the 1970s.
Its design combines rubber and plastic to provide reliable balance on the head without excessively muting the snare drum’s response. The integrated jingles add a bright, slightly saturated resonance, ideal for enriching funk, hip-hop, pop and rock grooves, or studio productions seeking a distinctive sonic signature.
Thanks to its thumb notch, the BFSD Halos can be removed in seconds between songs. It is a practical solution for drummers who want to easily switch between an open snare drum sound and a dry, warm and vintage tone, without carrying a second shell.
