Summary of This Method

Intended for the 3rd year of the first cycle, this musical training method supports the student in a structured progression: it consolidates the acquired basics (reading, rhythm, theoretical landmarks) while introducing new, more regular and autonomous work habits. The goal is clear: to develop a concrete musical understanding, directly connected to instrumental practice and singing.

The oral component places listening and the voice at the center of learning. It includes singing proposals, guided listening activities, and applied theory sequences designed to sharpen the ear, strengthen the sense of pulse, and improve reading (notes and rhythms). Concepts are not approached abstractly: they rely on living materials from the traditional repertoire or classical heritage to facilitate memorization and give meaning to each step.

The written component complements this work by developing independence: writing exercises, rhythmic and melodic dictations, and targeted theory points to stabilize knowledge. The two parts can be used separately depending on the course organization or combined to build a coherent annual path. An excellent choice to progress in solfège, strengthen rhythmic reading, and gain confidence in the fundamentals of musical training.
