LCD Screen and Field-Oriented Ergonomics

Its blue backlit bitmap LCD screen enhances readability and can be configured to display relevant information (source name, zone, mode, active scene). The front panel controls are designed for repetitive use: volume buttons (+, -) and selection buttons (+, -) to easily navigate programmed options. This ergonomics promotes quick adoption, even in contexts where there is no time for extensive user training.

Addressing, Cabling, and Deployment in Fixed Installations

The CC-16 uses DIP Switch addressing on the rear, convenient for deploying multiple controllers on the same system. Up to 15 controllers can be installed per ControlSpace processor, meeting multi-zone project requirements. Cabling relies on Cat 5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP), with a maximum length of 609 m as specified for cable standards, enabling coverage of large sites while maintaining a simple, standardized infrastructure.

The 6-pin Euroblock connector aligns with professional installation practices, and the mounting in a standard electrical wall box facilitates clean and durable integration. Power can be supplied via an 8 to 18 VDC adapter (sold separately), a point to anticipate during budgeting and project preparation.
