An Heir to the BR Series, Designed for Mobility

The BR-80 continues the legacy of BOSS portable studios that popularized mobile recording. Compact and intuitive, it modernizes the experience with a new DSP processor, a clear console-inspired interface, and an integrated rhythm bank. The result: a true creation and practice studio that fits in your pocket without compromising on quality.

Ideal for Guitarists, Singer-Songwriters, and Mobile Musicians

Whether you're demoing a song, rehearsing a solo, or capturing an idea backstage, the BR-80 simplifies every step. Guitarists and bassists benefit from COSM modeling, vocalists enjoy effects inspired by BOSS vocal processors, while bands can use the stereo "Live Rec" recorder to capture rehearsals or ambiance with great clarity.

Key Features for Creating, Practicing, and Capturing

Three Complementary Modes

Compose in "MTR" mode with 64 "V-track" tracks and simultaneous playback of 8 tracks, supported by a stereo rhythm track and a large groove library. Capture your ideas on the fly in "Live Rec" mode via the built-in stereo microphone, then import them into "MTR" for arrangement. In "eBand" mode, import songs via USB using the "eBand Song List Editor", slow down or transpose, record your part, and use the "Center Cancel" function to reduce the original vocal or solo.

Effects and Processing for a Polished Sound

The BR-80 features over 40 COSM amp models for guitar and bass, vocal effects (doubling, harmonies, pitch correction), as well as an equalizer, reverb, and mastering tools. It can also serve as a USB audio interface with effects to record directly to a computer while retaining your favorite sounds.
