Customization Designed for 7-String Guitars and Modern Setups
The Boss GK-5 Guitar Synth Pickup Kit G7 (GK-5-KIT-G7) is aimed at guitarists who want to transform their 7-string into a true synth controller without sacrificing their instrument's character. Once installed, the system integrates into the guitar's standard wiring and allows simultaneous use of the "normal pickup" signal and the Serial GK signal, ideal for layering traditional guitar sounds with synth textures, modeling, or V-Guitar effects.
Advanced Controls to Manage Your Guitar Synth Live
Whether on stage or in the studio, ergonomics make the difference. The GK-5-KIT-G7 includes the necessary components to logically position your controls according to your playing style: a 3-way toggle switch to select the GK output, the normal pickup output, or a mix of both; a 3-way momentary switch providing access to assignable S1 and S2 controls (depending on the connected compatible device); and a GK button usable as volume or parameter control. A dedicated LED confirms system power for worry-free use.
Serial GK: Stable Digital Connection Ready for Compatible Devices
Designed for the Serial GK ecosystem, this kit ensures stable digital signal transmission and includes dedicated wiring suitable for active or passive pickups. For optimal performance, it is intended to work with dedicated Serial GK cables (BGK series). If you want to control GK 13-pin format devices, using a GKC-DA GK converter (sold separately) extends your setup's compatibility.
