Features and Innovations

The Katana-210 Bass offers three preamp types (Vintage, Flat, Modern) to shift from warm low-mids to a straighter, more contemporary response. The Shape 3-position switch (Mid Scoop, Bright, Extended Range) instantly directs the character: scoop mids for a wider pick playing, add brightness to emphasize attack, or extend bandwidth for modern definition. The 4-band EQ includes target frequency controls on low-mids and high-mids, very useful for fitting into a mix without unnecessarily boosting the bass.

The Blend section follows a studio logic: you reinject a portion of the Dry (direct) signal to preserve note impact and clarity while benefiting from shaping and effects. For processing, the amp integrates four independent effect sections: dedicated Comp/Limiter and Drive, then FX1 and FX2 (with Delay and Reverb accessible via FX2), all complemented by the ability to load many effect types via BOSS Tone Studio. Finally, the 6 Tone Setting memories allow saving and recalling your configurations (preamp, EQ, effects): handy for switching between verse/chorus, fingers/pick, or passive/active bass.
