Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The BOSS Katana series has established itself as a reference for guitarists seeking versatility, built-in effects, and an excellent performance/size ratio. The Katana-Mini carries the spirit of the range in a version designed for mobility: a mini battery-powered amp that prioritizes simplicity, ergonomics, and sound quality superior to the average ultra-compact amps.
Who This Amp Is For
The Katana-Mini is aimed at beginner guitarists as well as experienced musicians who want a reliable backup amp: home practice, warm-up in the dressing room, silent rehearsals with headphones, or mobile playing (hotel room, outdoors, backstage). Its three voicings easily cover pop, blues, rock, hard rock, and more saturated modern sounds, while remaining simple to adjust.

I am new to guitar, and as a student I was looking for a home amp.
This one is perfect, the format is ultra compact, super practical when you want to take it with you during an outing.
As for the sound, I haven't had much experience with other amps, but it's a perfect fit for me. There is no shortage of power for the use I make of it.
I am completely satisfied with it, if you are also looking for a home amp to start with, I strongly recommend it!Automatically translated

It's sending sound!
Light weight but heavy enough to still be stable.
The range of sound, distortion, crunchy or heavy metal without forgetting the clean is sufficient for a small configuration at home, with little space. No need for more. Not yet used outside, when traveling. On stage, obviously, there is no place for him, but the stage and I make two for now.Automatically translated
