How many tracks can be recorded simultaneously?
Five independent stereo tracks are available, each with its own fader and dedicated buttons. The maximum polyphony announced is 10.
Does the RC-505 MKII support two XLR microphones with phantom power?
Two XLR mic inputs with 48 V phantom power allow connection of dynamic or condenser microphones.
Can this loop station be used with a computer and a DAW?
The USB connection handles audio and MIDI exchanges with a DAW. Loop import and export are supported via BOSS Tone Studio. Patterns can also be imported using RC Rhythm Converter.
What effects are available on loops and inputs?
The Input FX and Track FX sections can each use up to four effects simultaneously, with four quick-access banks. They include 49 input effects and 53 track effects respectively, including Harmony and Electric FX.
What is the recording duration of the RC-505 MKII?
The maximum duration is about 1.5 hours per track and approximately 13 hours total memory. The 99 memory slots store tracks, effects, playback settings, and control assignments.
