Eco Collection: A Breedlove Designed for Sound... and the Forest
With the Eco Collection, Breedlove highlights a clear vision: optimizing acoustic performance while adopting a more resource-conscious approach. The Pursuit Exotic S Companion Tiger's Eye CE embodies this philosophy by combining a solid top with a back and sides pair designed to offer generous projection and balanced response, all within an instrument featuring a refined and instantly recognizable design.
Who Is It For, and What Styles?
Thanks to its Companion size and cutaway, this Breedlove is particularly suited for beginner to intermediate guitarists seeking a comfortable electro-acoustic, as well as for experienced musicians looking for a more compact guitar for travel. It excels in fingerstyle, pop, folk, and singer-songwriter accompaniment, offering easy playability and precise sound, both acoustically and amplified.
Sound
The solid myrtlewood soundboard delivers a clear attack and beautiful definition while maintaining some warmth in the low-midrange: perfect for highlighting fingerpicking details as well as strumming. The Companion size promotes a quick response and direct sound, ideal for intimate playing or mic use. When plugged in, the Fishman Presys I EQ faithfully reproduces the instrument's woody character and provides a clear, usable sound for rehearsals, stage, or home studio.
