A Laser Show Designed for Stage, Club, and Events
The IODA 1000 RGB delivers sharp and powerful projections, ideal for live performances, clubs, festivals, corporate events, weddings, and parties. Its narrow beam and very low divergence allow for crisp drawings over long distances, while its robust aluminum housing withstands tours, rentals, and fixed installations in bars, restaurants, or venues without issue.
Who Is the IODA 1000 RGB For?
Designed for mobile DJs, lighting technicians, event providers, and installers seeking a compact yet ambitious laser, it is also suitable for theaters and TV studios for clean and reproducible graphic effects. Experienced private users will find an expandable show tool, provided they strictly adhere to the safety rules of a Class 4 laser.
Questions frequently asked
Can the Cameo Ioda 1000 RGB be controlled by laser software?
The ILDA input on a 25-pin Sub-D connector allows control from compatible laser show software. The 25-pin female Sub-D ILDA output also enables daisy-chaining the signal to another device.
What is the laser's power and visible range?
The total rated power is 1000 mW in RGB, with a beam of approximately 3 mm diameter and a divergence of 1.5 mrad. The 638 nm red diode combined with the 532 nm green and 447 nm blue sources allows sharp projections at a distance.
What DMX modes are available?
Two DMX-512 modes are offered: 4 or 11 channels, via 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs. Auto modes, sound activation via an adjustable microphone, and Master/Slave modes are also available.
Is the laser suitable for logos and text?
The galvanometer scanner reaches 30 Kpps at 8° ILDA and covers a maximum angle of 60°. This setup allows displaying text, logos, and detailed graphic animations.
What precautions should be taken for this class 4 laser?
This device is class 4 laser rated and includes a keyed switch as well as a Scan-Fail safety system. Public use requires adherence to laser safety best practices and installation of appropriate signage. The aluminum housing has separate compartments for the optics and the power supply/cooling.
