A "Solid Top" Ukulele Designed to Combine Natural Aesthetics and Performance
The HH 2155 features a "Solid Top" construction with a solid spruce top, chosen for its consistent grain and ability to easily transmit vibrations. The matte finish was selected to preserve acoustic response while offering a natural and elegant look. For practicality, the integrated strap buttons enhance mobility and comfort whether you play sitting or standing.
For Which Musicians and Styles?
Thanks to its easy handling and excellent finish, this tenor ukulele suits both beginners and experienced players seeking a responsive instrument. Its tenor size is particularly appreciated for pop, folk, vocal accompaniment, fingerpicking, and percussive rhythms, with projection that remains clear in a group setting.
Sound
The solid spruce top is the core of the tone: it promotes a clear attack, good volume reserve, and lively acoustic feedback under the fingers. The mahogany body complements the whole with a warm midrange and pleasant roundness, helping the instrument stay musical even with strong playing. The original Aquila Nylgut strings enhance clarity and ease of play, while the encapsulated tuners contribute to stable and precise tuning retention.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To fully enjoy the pack, provide a lithium CR2032 battery for the included tuner (delivered without battery). Ukulele straps are compatible thanks to the integrated strap buttons. For replacement, choose a tenor ukulele string set suited to the 16.93" / 430 mm scale length.
