An Heir to the British Celestion Tradition
For decades, Celestion has shaped the sound of iconic guitar amplifiers. The Midnight 60 continues this legacy by combining the modern drive of the V-Type with a more vintage flavor. Its ceramic magnet set and recalibrated moving parts refocus the tonal balance, evoking the spirit of the G12L while maintaining the attack and definition expected from a contemporary 12-inch speaker.
Who Is This Speaker For?
Rock, blues, pop, or indie guitarists seeking an inspiring and versatile tone will find a reliable companion here. In clean settings, it offers a nice openness with just the right amount of brightness. In overdrive or distortion, it delivers a burning rock and roll grit, solid lows, and expressive mids, perfect for both riffing and lead playing.
What Makes It Stand Out
The Midnight 60 impresses with its immediate dynamics and ability to maintain clarity when pushing the amp. Its steel frame ensures rigidity and durability, while the ceramic magnet provides a tight and controlled response. The 12-inch / 60 W / 8 Ohms combination makes it a safe choice for upgrading a combo or building a versatile cabinet without sacrificing the Celestion character.
