Questions frequently asked
Does the SlimPAR Q12 BT ILS operate without a DMX console?
The built-in Bluetooth allows control via the BTAir app, without cables or a controller. Standalone programs and a music mode with sound sensor are also available.
What light output and beam angle does it provide for up-lighting?
The 12 RGBA LEDs of 3.5 W each deliver 1,216 lux at 2 meters, with a beam angle of 24°. This setup is suitable for coloring walls, totems, and backdrops.
Does amber make a difference compared to an RGB PAR?
The RGBA source adds an amber LED to the red, green, and blue colors. This allows for warm and natural shades to be achieved.
How many DMX channels does this fixture use?
Two DMX modes are offered: 4 or 8 channels. The connectors use 3-pin XLR input and output for DMX daisy chaining.
Can several fixtures be linked in power?
An IEC input and output allow power linking between multiple units. The power supply accepts 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz, with a maximum consumption of 43 W.
