A clip-on tuner in the line of Cherub best-sellers
Known for its reliable tuners and metronomes, Cherub made a breakthrough in 2005 with the WST-550G, one of the first clip-on digital tuners to simplify tuning for thousands of guitarists. The WST-551C carries on this spirit: a discreet format, immediate use, and the latest Cherub tuning technology to accompany you daily.
A tuner designed for guitar, on stage or at home
The Cherub WST-551C is aimed at musicians who want reliable tuning without wasting time: at home, in lessons, in the studio, or on stage. Its chromatic operation adapts to different chords and tunings, while the clip sensor ensures stable vibration detection, handy when the environment is noisy or when you want to tune silently.
Maximum simplicity: two buttons, effective display, comfortable battery life
With its two buttons, the WST-551C gets straight to the point: tuning becomes a reflex before playing. The bright LEDs facilitate instant reading, and the color LCD screen improves visibility depending on angle and light. The built-in rechargeable battery (Li-Po) offers about 2.5 hours of autonomy, a real plus for back-to-back sessions without relying on batteries.

Questions frequently asked
Is the Cherub WST-551C suitable for alternate guitar tunings?
Its chromatic mode covers a range from A0 to C8, that is 27.50 Hz to 4186 Hz. It can therefore identify all notes within this range to tune different tunings. The reference pitch is adjustable from 435 to 445 Hz, in 1 Hz increments.
What is the accuracy of the Cherub clip-on tuner?
The stated accuracy is ±1 cent, allowing for fine tuning of each string's pitch.
Can this tuner be used in a noisy environment?
The clip-on sensor detects vibrations from the instrument rather than ambient sound. This method facilitates tuning in noisy environments. It also allows silent tuning.
What battery life does the built-in rechargeable battery offer?
The rechargeable Li-Po battery provides about 2 hours and 30 minutes of autonomy. No type of connector or charging time is specified.
Is the display readable on stage?
Bright LEDs and the color LCD screen make it easy to read depending on angle and lighting. With dimensions of 53 x 49 x 16 mm and weighing 20.5 g, the size remains compact on the guitar headstock.
