A New Hybrid Era by Cole Clark
With the "True Hybrid" series, Cole Clark blends its modern acoustic lutherie with electronics designed for stage and studio. Constructed from responsibly sourced solid woods, refined Grand Auditorium ergonomics, and multiple pickups: this guitar stands as a natural bridge between acoustic and electric worlds.
Who Is It For and Which Styles?
Ideal for intermediate to advanced guitarists who perform live, record in home studios, or alternate between acoustic and electric sets. Folk, pop, indie, rock, blues, or light fingerstyle: its versatility covers accompaniment, arpeggios, and pick playing with a single guitar. Demanding beginners will also appreciate its "Thinline" comfort and cutaway.
Sound
The solid mahogany (top, back, sides) delivers a warm, woody tone rich in mids, with smooth highs and controlled bass. The Grand Auditorium Thinline format focuses projection for easy mixing, clean sustain, and better resistance to stage feedback. On the electronics side, the three-band PG3 offers a natural and adjustable acoustic sound, while the HSS section opens a wide palette: crisp and punchy single-coils, denser and singing humbucker tone. Blending these sources allows sculpting very current hybrid textures.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
- Set of D'Addario XS Phosphor Bronze 10-47 strings (identical replacement to preserve tension and tonal balance).
