With Cir-Kit, the idea is simple: recapture the spirit of the great circuits that shaped guitar and bass sounds, but with a modern prototyping mindset. Before breaking out the soldering iron and locking a schematic into a enclosure, you assemble, listen, compare, and tweak on a breadboard. This Component Bag fits this philosophy: get straight to the sound by reducing time spent hunting for the right components and facilitating experimentation.

This DIY components kit is aimed at curious musicians, audio tinkerers, and musical electronics enthusiasts who want to understand the impact of each stage (boost, drive, fuzz, EQ) on touch and dynamics. It is also well suited for pedal builders who want to validate a circuit, test settings, or prepare a "final" version to solder after finding the right balance between output level, tone, and frequency response.

The Cir-Kit pack series offers DIY pedal circuits known for their iconic tones and features. The range includes approaches such as Hard Clip Distortion (in the spirit of RAT), Silicon Fuzz (in the spirit of Silicon Fuzz Face), MOSFET Boost (in the spirit of Jack Orman MOSFET Boost / Super Hard On), Treble Boost (in the spirit of Rangemaster), 3-band EQ (in the spirit of Baxandall EQ), as well as other variants oriented towards overdrive and mini fuzz/boost. The goal: to provide you with a reliable base from which to explore your own sonic "recipe."
