The C5 Deluxe combines a poplar body (balanced, responsive, and comfortable) with a maple neck that provides clarity and a sharp attack, while the jatoba fingerboard contributes to a firm feel under the fingers and precise response. The two Bartolini MK-1 humbuckers deliver solid and well-controlled lows, clear mids, and clean highs, perfect for maintaining definition on the low string. The Markbass MB-1 preamp allows quick adjustment of the tonal color depending on the context (modern playing, slap, rounder or more incisive sound), while maintaining a powerful and consistent foundation across the entire range.
