A Junior in the Spirit of the G Series: the Classic Revisited by Cort

For over 60 years, Cort has designed and manufactured guitars and basses known for their value for money. The G series follows this philosophy: to take the classic "double cutaway" and adapt it to current needs, with modern playability and configurations designed to cover a wide range of styles. The G100 Junior positions itself as an accessible and well-equipped entry point into the world of Cort electric guitars.

For Whom and for Which Styles?

The Cort G100 Junior is primarily aimed at beginners (and guitarists looking for a compact and comfortable electric guitar). Its short scale length helps reduce left-hand effort, which facilitates learning chords, bends, and first riffs. With its three single-coil pickups, it is comfortable in pop, rock, blues, funk, and for any work in clean or slightly overdriven tones.

The Sound

The G100 Junior combines a meranti body and a maple neck for a balance of warmth, attack, and precision. The 3 single-coil pickups provide a quick response and good clarity, especially in clean and crunch sounds: perfect for arpeggios, percussive rhythms, and expressive leads. The fixed bridge promotes a sharp attack, consistent sustain, and better tuning stability, a real plus for progressing confidently.
