The Cort G115 SE belongs to the G series, designed as a reinterpretation of the classic double cutaway design: familiar landmarks, but a current approach focused on versatility. It aims for an excellent quality/price ratio, with simple and effective craftsmanship and electronics designed to meet varied needs, from clean tones to more powerful overdrives.

This electric guitar is primarily aimed at beginners and intermediate players who want a first versatile guitar that is easy to set up and use. Thanks to the S/S/H pickup set and vintage vibrato, it is very suitable for pop, rock, blues, and funk, while also allowing for more aggressive styles with the bridge humbucker.

The Sound

The poplar body promotes a balanced output, with a clear attack and a homogeneous spectrum, perfect for an all-around guitar. The maple neck provides definition and precision, while the Indian laurel fingerboard slightly rounds off the high end to maintain a pleasant sound even when pushing the gain. The two Powersound single coils are suited for articulate clean tones and punchy rhythms, whereas the Powersound humbucker offers higher output and density for riffs and solos. Everything is controlled by a 5-position selector, 1 volume, and 1 tone control to quickly get to the essentials.
