Cort Lh Handed B4 Action Plus Black

An Action Plus: Access to the World of Cort Basses

For over 60 years, Cort has developed guitars and basses known for their value for money. The Action Plus series follows this philosophy: offering an affordable electric bass, born from decades of manufacturing experience, with an efficiency-oriented approach (simple craftsmanship, useful electronics, immediate playability) to play fast and progress confidently.

Who Is This Left-Handed Bass For?

This Cort Action Plus is primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate bassists looking for an easy-to-set-up instrument that is versatile enough to explore various styles. The PJ configuration and active EQ suit rock, pop, funk, as well as more modern sounds requiring a solid low end and a more defined attack.

The Sound

The poplar body provides a pleasant balance with a fairly even response that highlights the electronics' work. The PJ Powersound pickup duo combines a Precision-style pickup for a full and punchy low end, and a Jazz-style pickup to add definition, clarity, and a more articulated tone. The 2-band active EQ allows you to quickly shape the sound: more depth to support a groove, or more treble to gain presence and attack depending on fingerstyle or pick playing.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To get the most out of the active electronics, have a spare 9V battery on hand. A strap and a good-quality 6.35 mm jack cable are also essentials for comfortable playing and minimizing signal loss.
