Cort Luce L60CE Black

The Luce Series: The Elegant Alternative to Large Bodies

For decades, Cort has built a solid reputation by offering instruments with a particularly attractive quality/price ratio. The Luce series follows this logic with a comfort-oriented approach: more compact bodies in OM, Concert, or Parlor styles, prioritizing a more balanced sound and more accessible ergonomics. With the L60, Cort combines a classic vintage look with modern choices like the cutaway and electronics, covering both home playing and the needs of an amplified musician.

For Whom and Which Styles?

Thanks to its OM format and comfortable nut width, the Cort Luce L60 is very suitable for beginners who want an easy-to-hold guitar, as well as intermediate players looking for a versatile electro-acoustic. It naturally lends itself to fingerstyle, pop/folk, vocal-guitar accompaniment, and detailed arpeggios, while remaining comfortable for pick strumming. The cutaway is a real plus if you explore chords and melodies higher up the neck.

The Sound

The L60 relies on a classic and effective sound recipe: a solid spruce top for clarity, projection, and precise attack, combined with mahogany back and sides to bring roundness and musicality in the mids. The Orchestra Model format favors a more balanced and articulate output, with less overpowering bass than a large body, which helps maintain definition in chords. The result is an expressive guitar, responsive to playing nuances, enjoyable for both picking and strumming, and ready to be amplified via the CE304T preamp when you take the stage or rehearse.
