Summary of This Method
Designed for beginners as well as keyboardists who want to get straight to the point, this method guides you through the discovery of the arranger keyboard with a clear and motivating progression. You first learn to identify and link your first notes on the keyboard, then to build your first chords to immediately add color and stability to your pieces. Arpeggios then complete your palette, helping you develop a more fluid hand and achieve more "musical" accompaniments.
The method also includes the ABC of music theory : rhythmic reading, notation landmarks, and essential concepts to understand what you are playing. The goal is not to overwhelm you with theory, but to give you the right reflexes to progress sustainably and gain autonomy on your instrument. To go further, a chord dictionary helps you vary your progressions and adapt your playing to multiple aesthetics, a valuable asset on an arranger keyboard where harmony drives much of the automatic accompaniment.
The strength of this resource lies in the use of audio tracks, available for free on our media kiosk. They guide you in detail and allow you to work on rhythmic placement, consistency, and "groove." You will study pieces in various styles, such as boogie woogie, blues, bossa nova, and pop rock. Thanks to the accompaniment functions of the arranger keyboard, you will quickly be able to play simple and pleasant melodies, with the feeling of being surrounded by musicians.
