Behind the scenes, the Falcon fits into a very "field-oriented" approach: in 2016, Crazy Tube Circuits designed a custom amp capable of navigating between two iconic American references with strong character, the Tweed Deluxe 5E3 and the Princeton Brownface 6G2. The team was so impressed by the sound, touch, and playing feel of this amp that they wanted to capture its essence in a pedal format, easier to transport and place at the heart of a pedalboard.

Rather than offering a simple overdrive, the Falcon was conceived as a meticulous emulation of amp circuits, with special attention paid to overall behavior: how the signal structures itself, how the power stage "breathes," and how saturation develops according to your attack. The result: a pedal that aims to reproduce an amp experience, not just a gain texture.
