Its spring locking system clips automatically onto your guitar's strap button and stays in place until you decide to release it. However, note that although it works with most strap buttons, compatibility cannot be guaranteed with all designs. The Auto Lock system does not work with guitars equipped with an end pin jack, nor with plastic strap buttons.
