Reliable Humidity Control to Preserve Your Instrument
The D'Addario temperature/humidity sensor (HTS) is designed for musicians who want to keep a precise eye on the actual conditions inside a case or gig bag. By clearly displaying humidity and temperature, it helps you anticipate changes that can affect the wood (warping, playing discomfort, tuning instability). Thanks to the programmable threshold and memory function recording the highest and lowest values encountered (with date and time), you can track changes over time and adjust your maintenance routine. For optimal protection, installing an HTS sensor and a humidifier in each case is a simple and effective investment.

Questions frequently asked
What relative humidity range can this sensor measure?
The digital hygrometer measures relative humidity from values below 20% up to 99%.
Is the temperature display available in both Celsius and Fahrenheit?
The display can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit. The temperature range covered extends from -35 to 50 °C, or -32 to 122 °F.
How to set the humidity alert on the sensor?
A programmable alert threshold is available on this sensor. It allows setting a reference value for humidity monitoring. The setting integrates into the condition tracking within a case or cover.
Is this sensor suitable for a guitar case?
In a guitar case or cover, the display shows the recorded humidity and temperature. This data helps monitor variations that can affect the wood, tuning, and playing comfort. Installing an HTS sensor with a humidifier in each case is recommended to protect the instrument.
Does the D'Addario HTS retain past readings?
The highest and lowest recorded humidity and temperature values are saved in memory. Each minimum or maximum reading is associated with a date and time.
