Metalite: an accessible "jazz" approach
Praised by many jazz musicians, the Metalite mouthpiece was designed to offer a bright and energetic sound signature while remaining easy to handle. Its tuning is set for A 440, a current standard that facilitates integration in ensembles, both in studio and on stage.
For which musician and styles?
This mouthpiece is especially suited for intermediate to advanced players seeking more bite, projection, and attack without necessarily switching to a 100% metal mouthpiece. It fits very well with jazz, funk, fusion, big band, and contemporary music aesthetics where one wants to stand out in the mix with a strong sound.
Sound and design
With its medium/small chamber, the Metalite favors quick response and good stability in attacks while promoting clear projection. Depending on the chosen opening, you can aim for more control (more centered feel) or more freedom (more air, more power). Its synthetic material is selected for its durability and resonance, to achieve a dynamic and consistent output.
Recommended compatible accessories
For an optimal experience, choose accessories adapted to your instrument and the mouthpiece geometry (ligature, mouthpiece cap, reeds) to ensure good support, consistent response, and effective protection during transport.
