D16 Group Classic Boxes Bundle

What is D16 Classic Boxes Bundle for?

D16 Classic Boxes Bundle is used to quickly recreate vintage-sounding drum kits and basslines in your DAW, with a modern workflow. The bundle covers everything from deep, punchy kicks, crisp snares, sharp hats to acid-character bassline patterns, allowing you to build a solid, distinctive rhythmic foundation that's immediately usable in production.
Whether you're composing minimalist grooves, denser club rhythms, or more experimental textures, these instruments provide direct access to sounds that have become standards, while remaining flexible enough to fit into a contemporary mix.

Main Features

A comprehensive bundle centered around 4 "classic boxes"

The pack includes four renowned emulations from D16, each dedicated to a specific aesthetic: Nepheton 2 for 808 drum machine sounds, Drumazon 2 for the 909 vibe, Nithonat 2 for the 606 approach, and Phoscyon 2 for the 303-inspired bassline. This complementarity lets you switch from old-school grooves to modern productions without changing ecosystems or workflow logic.

Nepheton 2: 808 spirit, captured nuances

Nepheton 2 is designed to reproduce the nuances and iconic details associated with 808 sounds. The instrument models drum elements and provides additional controls to push sound shaping further: ideal for adjusting character, presence, and mix integration without losing the "classic drum machine" DNA.

Drumazon 2: the 909 imprint, tailored for dance and techno

Drumazon 2 targets producers wanting to recapture the impact and energy of 909 sounds, omnipresent in dance and techno for decades. The plugin aims for a faithful digital-domain emulation, with a response suited to current productions, delivering solid kicks, incisive snares, and hats that cut through the mix.

Nithonat 2: the simple 606, surprisingly versatile

Nithonat 2 embodies the spirit of the 606, originally designed as a companion to a famous "silver box." Behind its apparent simplicity, this approach is known for versatility: from 80s-style pop rhythms to modern grooves (EDM, electro) and more experimental constructions. It's an excellent choice for drier, more organic patterns or layering a complementary rhythmic layer over a main drum kit.

Phoscyon 2: acid bassline and advanced features

Phoscyon 2 projects the analog sound of the "silver box" bassline into a contemporary production environment. The goal is to preserve character and musicality while offering a more comfortable studio experience, with advanced features and increased flexibility to craft an expressive acid line perfectly locked into your track.
