What D16 Repeater Is For

D16 Repeater is a delay plugin designed to add space, depth, and movement to your productions. It suits both "mix" uses (placing a vocal in the stereo field, thickening a snare, adding dimension to a guitar) and "sound design" approaches (modulated echoes, rhythmic textures, evolving ambiances). Thanks to its dual delay line design, Repeater allows for creating complex stereo bounces, different left/right responses, and width effects that remain musical and controllable.

Whether you work in pop, electro, hip-hop, techno, rock, or film music, Repeater positions itself as an all-in-one delay: a single tool to explore a wide range of characters, from vintage grain to cleaner repetitions, while maintaining a fast workflow in session.

Main Features

23 Delay Models in One Plugin

Repeater brings together 23 models inspired by different eras and delay technologies. The idea is simple: to have a broad range of sonic "personalities" without multiplying plugins. You can switch from a more organic and colored echo to a more precise digital delay, allowing you to quickly choose the texture that best serves the arrangement.

Two Independent Delay Lines for Creative Stereo

At first glance, Repeater looks like a classic stereo delay. In practice, it offers a more flexible approach: two separate delays for the left and right channels, each with independent control. This architecture enables intentionally asymmetrical echoes (different times, different placement, different intensity), very effective for opening up a mix without masking the source.

Each channel notably features per-channel functions, including re-panning and independent dry/wet mix. The result: you can achieve atypical ping-pongs, "moving" stereos, or echo layers wider than a fixed-pan stereo delay, all while maintaining excellent clarity.

Tempo Synchronization and Tap for Immediate Timing

For clean rhythmic delay, Repeater offers a tempo synchronization option with the DAW. You can also use the Tap function to quickly find a delay time by ear, whether in sync mode or not. This is ideal for locking in a groove, creating dotted eighth-note repetitions, or simply "playing" the delay as an arranging instrument.

Modulation, Filtering, and Sound Finishing

A modern delay is not limited to repeating a signal: Repeater includes modulation and filtering tools to shape the repetitions, blend them into the mix, or conversely bring them forward. Modulation adds movement (drift effects, chorus-like, controlled instability), while the filter allows you to adjust the brightness or body of the echoes to avoid clutter in the upper midrange.

The output is designed for a musical rendering with very low digital aliasing and a warm signature, making it easy to stack repetitions without harshness, even on sources rich in harmonics.

Modern Ergonomics: HiDPI, Interface Sizes, and MIDI Learn

Repeater adapts to your environment with multiple interface sizes and HiDPI support, convenient both in the studio and on a laptop screen. MIDI Learn simplifies parameter assignment to a controller, allowing you to automate feedback increases, mix variations, or character changes in real time.
