The MEDIA PLAYER DAB is positioned as a centralized audio source in a rack format, designed to simplify music playback in a fixed installation or mobile system. Its 19-inch 1U format facilitates integration alongside a mixing console, amplifier, processor, or PA system. By combining file playback, Bluetooth streaming, and DAB/FM radio reception, it offers a practical solution when you want to multiply sources without multiplying devices.

Who is it for, and in what applications?

This multimedia player is aimed at mobile DJs, hosts, sound engineers, bars and restaurants, gyms, places of worship, multipurpose rooms, and corporate installations (reception areas, showrooms, meeting rooms). It is particularly suitable when a reliable and quick-to-start playback is needed, with direct access to front panel connections to plug in a "passing" source (smartphone via mini jack or microphone via Combo).

In event settings, it can serve as a backup source (FM/DAB radio or USB stick) in case of computer failure. In installations, its multiple outputs allow easy integration into various audio chains, whether to a console, amplifier, or active speakers.

Features and new additions

The MEDIA PLAYER DAB combines several playback modes: MP3 files from SD/SDHC cards (up to 32 GB, not included, FAT32 format) or USB 2.0 sticks, streaming via Bluetooth, and DAB and FM radio reception with included antenna. The interface features an LCD screen to display essential information, including track duration, as well as an audio track search function for more efficient library navigation.

Regarding integration, the device offers 4 RCA line inputs to accommodate other analog sources, plus front panel connections: a 3.5 mm mini jack phone-type input for quick source connection and a convenient Combo microphone input for announcements or interventions. The output section is particularly flexible with RCA, unbalanced 6.35 mm Jack, and balanced XLR outputs: a real advantage for adapting to both short connections and longer cabling. Controls include a master volume, general bass and treble adjustments, as well as dedicated bass and treble adjustments for the microphone, allowing quick tonal balance adjustment according to the room and voice level.
