Founded by Denis Wick, a musician of the London Symphony Orchestra, the British brand was born out of a very practical need: to obtain accessories capable of helping the instrument "carry" as desired in the concert hall. In half a century, Denis Wick has become a worldwide reference thanks to a broad and coherent range, crafted with the expertise of skilled artisans in Great Britain.
When and for whom to choose this mute
This mute is suitable for both students and experienced musicians seeking a versatile straight mute. It is particularly fitting for contexts where a precise color and a more focused sound are required: concert, rehearsal, practicing in an apartment or while traveling.
Sound and design
The straight mute delivers a clear attack and a tighter timbre, while maintaining good clarity. The aluminum promotes immediate response, a drier character, and controlled projection-ideal for achieving a distinctive and recognizable mute color.
