Denis Wick Straight Mute (Bb Tuba)

Denis Wick: Expertise Born in the Orchestra

A musician with the London Symphony Orchestra, Denis Wick created his brand to meet the needs he encountered on stage. This mute is part of a range developed around the requirements of instrumentalists.

For Tuba Players in Ensembles and Orchestras

Designed for players using a B♭ tuba, it supports the practice of muted passages, both in rehearsals and concerts, particularly in classical and contemporary repertoire.

Wood for Shaping the Sound color

A straight mute is placed in the bell, the flared end of the instrument, to transform the timbre. This wooden model allows players to explore this distinctive color; it should not be confused with a practice mute designed to reduce the volume significantly.
