A DPA Accessory Designed for the d:vote 4099 Range
The DPA STC4099 is part of the accessory ecosystem developed around the d:vote 4099 instrument microphones. The concept is simple: to provide a mounting solution tailored to each instrument family, ensuring a stable and consistent microphone position without makeshift adjustments. This specific saxophone/trumpet clip allows you to get the most out of a microphone you already own by neatly adapting it to your instrument.
For Which Musicians and Uses?
This microphone clip is intended for saxophonists and trumpeters who use a DPA d:vote 4099 microphone and seek a reliable, quick, and discreet mounting solution. It is especially suitable for stage musicians (jazz, funk, pop, contemporary music, brass bands) who need to quickly switch between soundchecks and stage changes, as well as for studio contexts when a close and repeatable mic placement is desired.
Quick Mounting and Respect for the Finish
One-Handed Installation
The STC4099 is designed to be installed with one hand. A real advantage when you need to set up quickly, adjust the microphone position between songs, or manage your instrument and music stand simultaneously.
Designed Not to Damage the Instrument
DPA designs its clips for installation on instruments without causing damage, to alleviate concerns about scratches or marks. This ensures a worry-free mounting, even on instruments with delicate finishes.
Usable with a Mute
A key feature for trumpet players: this clip can be used simultaneously with a mute, allowing you to maintain your microphone setup while changing timbre. Convenient for arrangements that alternate quickly between "open" and "mute" sounds.

I find this product very expensive for the small piece of plastic or rubber that it is. More than €30 for that seems crazy to me, but I needed it urgently, I didn't take the time to find other solutions...
